Chaos Army — Gather ‘Round
Alright Chaos Army, pull up a chair for a minute.
Every once in a while we get one of those reminder days that’s simple on the surface but actually says a lot more if you pay attention. Today’s one of those.
It’s Plant a Flower Day.
No big parade.
No complicated rules.
Just plant something and let nature take over.
But the thing about planting flowers is you don’t see the payoff right away. You put the seed in the ground, you water it, you give it some sunlight, and for a while… absolutely nothing happens.
Then one day it pops up.
And suddenly all that quiet work you did under the surface starts to make sense.
That’s how a lot of things in life work too. The stuff that ends up mattering usually starts small. You put in effort when nobody’s clapping yet. You keep going when the results aren’t showing up right away.
Effort first.
Patience second.
Results later.
So if you’re in that season where it feels like you’ve been putting in the work and not seeing much bloom yet… keep tending the soil. The seeds you’re planting today might be the thing that grows into something bigger than you ever expected.
Alright, let’s get into the rest of today’s chaos.
REASON TO PARTY
Plant a Flower Day – Rock King Segment
Today we tip the hat to something simple that carries a pretty powerful lesson.
It’s Plant a Flower Day.
No big production here. No complicated instructions. Just put something in the ground and let nature do what it does best.
But planting flowers teaches patience in a way a lot of things don’t. You plant the seed, water the soil, give it sunlight… and for a while it feels like nothing’s happening.
Then one day it breaks through the dirt.
Growth works the same way in life.
Effort first.
Patience second.
Results later.
So if you’ve been putting work into something and wondering when it’s going to bloom, the answer might simply be this: keep watering it.
SURVEYS, STUDIES & SUCH
You’ve probably had that moment where you mention something out loud, and suddenly an ad for that exact thing shows up online minutes later. It feels like your phone is listening — and new research suggests that creepy feeling might actually hurt businesses more than help them.
A study published in the academic field of Psychology & Marketing looked at more than 2,500 people across four experiments. Researchers found that when consumers don’t understand how their personal data was collected, the ads feel invasive and trigger a sense of hidden surveillance.
Once that “creepiness factor” kicks in, it’s hard to undo.
Discounts didn’t fix it.
Transparency messages didn’t fix it.
Even charity pledges didn’t help.
Two things did make a difference though.
Direct cashback incentives.
And oddly enough… cute images.
Apparently puppies still win the internet.
BIG SCREEN – LITTLE SCREEN
Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias just added another milestone to an already massive career. Last week he received the 2,838th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, recognizing his work in live theatre and performance.
Iglesias is one of the highest-grossing touring comedians in the world, and he’s also one of the most watched comedians on YouTube with more than 2.4 billion views.
The ceremony featured fellow comedians Alfred Robles and Martin Moreno speaking in his honor.
Meanwhile, actor Bruce Campbell, best known for playing Ash Williams in the Evil Dead series, revealed on social media that he has been diagnosed with cancer. Campbell told fans the condition is treatable but not curable, though he hasn’t shared details about the specific diagnosis.
Fans know Campbell not only from the Evil Dead films but also from the TV series Ash vs. Evil Dead, which ran from 2015 through 2018.
DID YA KNOW!?
Did you know a group of porcupines is called a “prickle”?
Collective animal names often reflect the most recognizable trait of the species. In this case… that description is pretty on the nose.
SCOOP OF THE DAY
If you’ve ever stood in the shampoo aisle debating between an $8 bottle and a $42 “luxury formula,” experts say the cheaper one might work just as well.
According to dermatologists and hair-care specialists, the real effectiveness of shampoo depends far more on ingredients, scalp type, and washing habits than the price tag.
Hair generally falls into two categories:
Damage-prone hair — like curly, dyed, or heat-styled hair.
Damage-resistant hair — like straight or naturally oily hair.
Expensive products sometimes contain more refined conditioners or soothing ingredients, but simpler formulas often work better for sensitive scalps.
In other words:
It’s not the product.
It’s the process.
So if the drugstore bottle works for you, congratulations — you just saved yourself a decent chunk of money.
THE MOVIE QUOTE OF THE DAY
“I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!”

WEIRD NEWS
A beauty pageant scandal just rocked the camel world.
At the 2026 Camel Beauty Show Festival in Oman, veterinary inspectors disqualified 20 camels after discovering cosmetic enhancements had been used to improve their appearance.
The procedures reportedly included:
Botox
Dermal fillers
Hyaluronic acid injections
Silicone treatments
Hormone boosts
The goal? Plumper lips, refined noses, bigger humps, and more muscular builds.
Camel beauty competitions judge features like coat quality, head shape, neck structure, and hump size. Winning camels gain prestige, breeding opportunities, and serious prize money.
Organizers from the Camel Club and Oman Camel Racing Federation condemned the tampering and promised strict penalties.
Apparently even camel pageants have a doping scandal now.
QUESTION OF THE DAY
A survey found that almost everyone has this in their bathroom… but only about 40% of people actually use it regularly. What is it?
Answer: Dental floss.
GOOD NEWS
Two women discovered a newborn baby abandoned in a shopping cart more than 50 years ago and helped save her life.
Decades later, that same woman tracked them down to finally thank them.
Sometimes a small moment of kindness ends up changing an entire lifetime.
THINGS I DIDN’T SAY ON AIR
Here’s the thing about days like Plant a Flower Day.
It sounds simple.
Almost too simple.
But most of the good things in life start exactly that way — with small actions that don’t look impressive at first.
Plant a seed.
Help someone out.
Start a project.
Try something new.
You don’t always get instant results.
But if you keep showing up and doing the small things consistently, eventually something grows. And one day you look back and realize the garden you’re standing in started with one tiny seed.
So wherever you’re at today Chaos Army — keep planting.
Something good will grow from it.
