We have finally come to the end of another week in the Rock Kingdom of Chaos- And i’ll you this… I have a feeling Bobby’s gonna have nightmares about the meerkats for a while which to be fair… I think he kind of earned them this week.

Today is Take Your Dog to Work Day, and Bobby has been seriously considering bringing Luna back to the studio.

There is, however, one small condition.

She has to sign an agreement promising not to unplug random cords.

Because the last time she visited, it seemed like every cable in the office suddenly became optional. Nothing raises your blood pressure quite like watching your broadcast equipment go dark while a very proud dog trots away with the world's most expensive chew toy.

To be fair, Luna would probably make a great co-host. She doesn't complain about the music, she's always excited to see everyone, and unlike the producer, she never asks Bobby to shorten a story.

As long as the microphones stay plugged in... she's hired.

The Cover: Black Stone Cherry (2020)
Fast forward more than three decades, and Kentucky rockers Black Stone Cherry gave the song a complete makeover. Instead of trying to imitate Tina, they leaned into their Southern hard rock roots with crunchy guitars, heavier drums, and Chris Robertson's gritty vocals. The result feels less like a pop anthem and more like a road-worn rock ballad.

Rather than replacing the original, Black Stone Cherry reimagined it—proving that a great song can thrive in a completely different genre while still keeping its emotional punch.

Now that Silence Never Wins is officially out, we've been asking Bobby which quote in the book has stayed with him the longest.

First off... thank you for all the meerkats today.

I'm not entirely sure why my livestream now looks like a wildlife documentary narrated by David Attenborough, but here we are.

At one point I was trying to make an important point, and suddenly there were enough meerkats on the screen to qualify for their own zip code.

I appreciate every single gift, though. It helps keep the chaos running, even if it occasionally makes me wonder whether I'm hosting a rock radio show or managing a very enthusiastic safari.

You may also notice we're testing a few new things over the next couple of weeks. Some ideas will work. Some won't. That's part of the fun.
