Okay, so I kept the clippers away from Bobby so we don’t need to worry about a Rock King Brittany D moment, that but that being said, have you ever tried wrestling a whatchamacallit from a honey badger mixed with an owl bear? That’s the type of day its been around here. So, I apologize in advance for the short newsletter but with the way today has gone, this was all I could get out.

If you haven’t joined us over on the discord, you’re missing out on the occasional Rock King Sarcasm Break:

Would You Rather?

Everybody says they want the rock star life until they realize what comes with it. Cameras everywhere. Opinions from strangers. Every move analyzed like it’s game film. But on the flip side… imagine pouring your heart into something great and the world never noticing.

So the real question isn’t just about fame.

Would you rather:

Have fame and recognition everywhere you go… but zero privacy ever again…

OR

Have complete freedom and anonymity… but no one ever knows what you’ve accomplished?

Choose carefully.

Because once the crowd starts chanting your name… it’s real hard to disappear.

We are debating about adding horoscopes to the newsletter. Let us know if you’re interested.

Survey, Studies & Such

Who else had a parent that cranked up the loudest, most rocking song from their era to wake you up in the morning, including your dad sock sliding through the door showing why air guitar lessons were and are most definitely a thing?

Some new research dropped on the psychology of Monday mornings shows: people who start their week with a deliberate positive anchor — a plan for the first hour of the day, a favorite song, or a simple ritual — report noticeably lower Monday anxiety and higher productivity through mid-week.

The biggest impact happens when that anchor is something you choose on purpose, not just another habit you run on autopilot. Researchers call it “intentional week architecture.”

In other words, how you start the week shapes how the rest of it unfolds. What was your mom’s favorite song to blast in the morning to get the day started?

National I am in Control Day

From someone who usually has a handle on things and can keep things generally in control, today was not the day for it. Knowing that there are sometimes things that are just way out of control so the only logical thing to do is remember I can control me. With that being said, today’s newsletter needed to be shorter so I could get the other stuff we have planned for the week organized and I hope you understand.
Remember to pause and take a breath sometimes. It’s okay to feel your feelings. (talking to you Bobby)

Things I Didn’t Say on Air:
