Happy Chaos Eve!
I hope you've all had a fantastic week because I have spent mine asking one very important question:
Who keeps giving Bobby Pixie Sticks?
As many of you know, Bobby is usually the one stealing my snacks. Leave a bag of chips unattended? Gone. Candy on the desk? Consider it a donation to the Bobby Fund. But after this week's level of chaos, I've decided it's time to intervene.
I'm not saying we need to confiscate his Pixie Sticks...
I'm just saying if anyone sees me quietly removing them, mind your business.
Between accidental on-air slipups, debates that somehow spiraled into full-blown arguments, and enough random tangents to make my production notes look like the scribblings of a conspiracy theorist, it's becoming increasingly clear that Bobby plus sugar equals "Producer's Problem."
So grab your favorite snack (hide it if Bobby's nearby), settle in, and enjoy today's edition.
And remember... if Bobby starts bouncing off the studio walls tonight, we all know who didn't hide the Pixie Sticks.
Producer's Blacklist: Songs We Can’t play on Show
This Week's Blacklisted Track: "Relax" – Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Sometimes, the fastest way to make a song famous... is to ban it.

Instead of disappearing, Relax exploded. Curiosity took over, fans wanted to know what all the fuss was about, and the song shot to #1. It became one of the biggest examples in music history of the "forbidden fruit" effect—sometimes telling people not to listen only makes them want to hear it more.
Producer's Take: Ironically, Relax became famous because people were told not to play it. For us, though, it lands on the Producer's Blacklist for a different reason. Between the song's explicit lyrics and sexual implications, it's exactly the kind of content AI moderation systems tend to flag. Unlike a human DJ, moderation bots don't understand context, history, or intent—they just detect keywords and themes. We'd rather keep the stream alive than risk having it muted or taken down, even if the song is a rock and pop culture classic./

Things Bobby Accidentally Said On Air
Bobby has been working incredibly hard to get his voice back after surgery. Every show gets a little stronger, but every now and then... the mouth and the brain still have a scheduling conflict.
During today's live show, he was trying to read a viewer's username. Unfortunately, with studio-quality noise-canceling headphones on, he couldn't immediately hear what actually came out of his mouth.
Let's just say...
The username somehow transformed into... a very specific body part.
The moment he heard himself through the headphones, he corrected it immediately. I, however, nearly lost it. I'm also pretty sure Bobby was grateful I wasn't within shoe-throwing distance.
We'll spare his dignity by not repeating exactly what was said...
...but trust me, if you were there, you know.

Which ruins a song more: an unnecessary remake or an overplayed original?
It's Thursday, which means it's time to stir the pot...
Producer: Unnecessary remakes. Not every classic needs a makeover. Looking at you, Leo... did we really need that many random remakes?
Bobby: An overplayed original. As a radio DJ, there's a difference between hearing a song once or twice a day and hearing it ten times a day. Even great songs can wear out their welcome.
Chef: Unnecessary remakes. If it isn't broken, don't "fix" it.
Last night's show sent us down a nostalgic rabbit hole talking about drinks we wish would make a comeback. Now we're taking that idea one step further.
If you could bring back ONE discontinued snack, what would it be?
No limits. No judgment. Just one glorious snack that deserved better.
Head over to Discord and settle the debate! We'll feature some of our favorite answers in next week's Producer's Tea Party, so bring your best (and most nostalgic) picks.
